According to a report from the NCSBN (National Council of State Boards of Nursing), 9.13% of Americans and and a whooping 63.61% of foreign-educated nurses (RN candidates) FAILED the NCLEX-RN on their first try in 2012, as indicated by the NCLEX Passing Rate Statistics. Additionally around the same time (2012), around 15.1% of Americans and 56.13% of foreign-educated LPN/LVN applicants FAILED the NCLEX-PN on their first try.
